Waking Up

I love watching her stretch when she wakes up from a nap.  So, when I heard her waking cries, I reached for the camera. I hoped for her short little baby arms stretching up over her head.  She didn’t do that, but I still couldn’t resist a few shots of her fresh from sleep.

Moments later, her big brother entered the room with his usual enthusiasm.

I just wrote about jumping, and this seemed like a good opportunity for some mid-air fun.  I liked the photo above, especially his arm, but I didn’t think the camera angle was low enough to show off the jump.

 Hmmmm.

I had to move the bed rail off the bed so I could get low enough to get this one.  When I posted this photo in black and while yesterday, I didn’t really know if it was the best choice.  But, since it was Friday, I just made a choice and posted it.  Above is the color version of yesterday’s photo.

A few days ago, I posted a macro shot I took with a 100mm macro lens.  For these photos, I used a 20mm lens.

(Those are my three lenses: 20mm, 50mm and 100mm.)

  1. I love this sequence. It tells a really good story. My favorite is the third shot. Hmmmmm….
Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
