Born during a snow storm, she’s my snow baby. But, not much of a baby anymore. In fact, she reads this blog. (Hi, Sweetie!) I check with her (and her sister) before using photos of them now. She liked this one. I love it.

I was talking to a friend about the inevitable repetition that comes with a daily project. She mentioned my benches. (You can see some more here.) We talked about how they are the same, but not the same, every time.
She said the same goes for the kids. The same, and not the same.

I did my best to completely ignore the New Year.
Then my friend, Mary Beth, posted photo number one of 365. A few more local photographers are jumping into the project too. I am happy for the company. Even though I’m over halfway through my 365, this feels like a new start. And that’s what paying attention to the new year is about – letting ourselves begin again.
