The way our Thanksgiving afternoon unfolded, I had a nap and a some time alone with my little girl. The two of us went out for a walk in the sunshine. There were many families out enjoying the holiday sunshine together. Augusta would say, “Hi!” to everyone she passed. Then she saw our neighbors. They got more than just a “Hi.”
